MAY TAROT FORECAST
STEP OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
CARD OF THE MONTH: JUDGEMENT
Sometimes the brave thing to do is let go of what you have been holding onto, and sometimes it takes courage to keep growing what you’ve begun. You don’t know which is which? This May will begin to reveal it. Life is in full bloom (metaphorically and literally!!) Eclipse season is back and so is another Mercury Retrograde! This is the time when you can get to the heart of the matter! Even with mercury “going backwards'' there is a steady movement forward — a time to tie up loose ends and start again. What has passed its expiration date will fall away and what is meant to last through the storm will inevitably stay. As it is Taurus season it’s important to stay grounded and keep doing what has been working (if it's not broken don’t fix it….!) AND if it's really not working, it's time to let it go. This month we find out what sustains and what has run its course! Our collective Tarot card for May is Judgment (the card I use shorthand for “forgiveness”). Basically, stop wasting your energy on judgment (of yourself or others), people will disappoint you and you will disappoint them; that’s part of the deal of being human! Don’t get stuck there; let’s use compassion and forgiveness to soften us this month. Weed the garden in your heart, bury the resentment, pluck out the doubt, and continue to bloom. I love you
RITUAL
Bury the Hatchet
On the theme of forgiveness let’s do a ritual to bury our resentments. We know how much a Taurus loves to hold on, so this is the perfect month to fight the urge to keep that grudge and instead try another way. Start by procuring a dozen eggs, (you’re gonna smash these so the cheap ones will do) and a pack of seeds to plant (this part is more metaphorical so any kind will do). Next find a spot outside where you can safely smash these babies. Take the eggs out one by one and energetically pour into them all the shit you’ve been holding onto. You can hold them, yell at them, or feel energy leave your hands into them. Once you feel that eggs are full of what you’re done with, smash it with conviction and feel the emotion leave your body. Do as many times as needed until you begin to feel lighter. Each egg can represent a person you’re angry at, a situation you haven’t let go of, or a specific emotion you no longer wanna feel. Once all eggs are smashed, find a patch of fertile ground and hold your handful of seeds to your heart. Put your prayers for peace, for forgiveness, for freedom (for whatever you now desire) into these seeds then gently press them into the earth. Connect with God and say thank you. Yay, you did it! Repeat as needed, this entire process can take 10 minutes for some or over an hour for others! Be sincere with your intention and you can’t go wrong <3
